INSTALLING WIRING

First we will start with the wire from the motor to controller (2 prong plug and 2 female connectors). Take the chrome nut and the rubber sealing ring from the through deck fitting and slide the nut up the wire from the (2) female connectors toward the 2 prong plug, then slide the wedge shaped rubber seal ring (big end toward 2 prong plug) up the wiring **this is not easy..take your time..soapy water or Windex will help the gasket move up the wire.

Take the end with the (2) female connectors and feed them through the deck fitting, add some silicone sealant around the gasket and the wires. Secure the nut leaving about 2-½ " of wire and plug above the nut.

Find something small diameter, semi-flexible and 6-7 ft long that you can fish down through the boat so you can fish the wires from the rear to the center hatch. When you do this make sure the wires are between scupper tubes and the outside of the boat. Next find the 3/8 diameter nylon cable clamp and at the back on the right hand side toward the bottom of the black hatch, remove the screw and reinstall it to hold the clamp holding the wires and vent tube.

To install the wires from the battery to the controller fish the wires in the same manner. On the right hand deck there are holes left over from the factory battery tray. Use the forward hole and a screw, nut, washer left over from the original battery tray along with the 5/16 cable clamp to secure the wires. Leave enough wire length so you can connect and disconnect the wires from the battery outside the battery box.

Plug the (4) wires into the controller as per the wire diagram**take your time..be accurate. There is no refund on burned up electrical parts**. Turn the controller wire side up and under the deck, then secure it with (2) 8 x 32 x ½ screws.Be careful not to cross thread these screws.

Next use the ½" diameter nylon cable clamp to secure all 4 wires with the screw you removed earlier from the side of the hatch cover ring.
