REAR HATCH ACCESS
Scribe area using top edge of center cover as template. Cut 1/8" outside of line with reciprocal saw, hacksaw blade or a roto zip tool and then mark holes, remove plate and drill with .oo2 diameter drill bit. Mount deck plate.
Remove deck plate and apply layer of silicone caulking on hull beneath flange. Screw deck plate to deck with #8 panhead screws and nylok nuts maintaining a minimum of 1/16" of silicone as a gasket and keeping the plate flat. Remove excess silicone with concentrated detergent or Isopropyl alcohol.
Locate the chrome through deck fitting as shown in the picture, mark and drill only the (3) mounting screw holes at this time. Apply silicone sealant at this time and mount the fitting to the deck. Wipe away excess sealant and drill out or file away the center hole for the wires to pass through.
